As we near a halfway point in the UN Ocean Decade, it is imperative that we have activites and events that progress Ocean science. One Ocean week in Bergen has become a pivitol event to spread new ocean innovations and reinvigorate attendees into strengthening collaboration efforts within ocean research.

During a thrilling two and a half days, this non-conference brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, academics, policymakers, venture capitalists, and thought leaders from the ocean industry.

With a maritime and marine history and unique knowledge environments, Western Norway and Bergen have every opportunity to take a global leadership position in sustainable ocean economy.
